House For An Art Lover is set in the grounds of Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. The house was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1901, as a competition entry. Mackintosh was disqualified from the architectural competition and the designs were disregarded. In the late 1980's a team of Mackintosh enthusiasts set about bringing those designs to life, and in 1996 The House For An Art Lover opened to the public as a multi-purpose events space. It's a beautiful and popular setting for a Glasgow wedding.
These hand drawings depict a selection of Scotland's wedding and events venues. What better way to get record a special memory than with a drawing of the venue itself?
The prints are hand-drawn and digitally rendered. Framed artworks and loose artwork prints can make a great addition to your home or make fantastic gifts for the special people in your life.
'House For An Art Lover' was created in 2021.
