The current Hampden Park, on Glasgow's Southside, opened in 1903 and was the biggest stadium in the world when it opened. It continues to hold the record for highest attendance, with 149,415 supporters attending the Scotland v England game in 1937. Scotland supporters are a loyal bunch, despite fairly regular heart-break, but oh, when they win, you can hear that roar for miles!
These hand drawings, by Turadh Design Co, depict a selection of sports stadiums and venues. What better way to get record a special memory than with a drawing of the location itself!
The prints are hand-drawn and digitally rendered. Framed artworks and loose artwork prints can make a great addition to your home or make fantastic gifts for the special people in your life.
